Iam dumb i cant seem to get the bolt back in !!!!

    looks to me like you have too much preasure on the spring.... Is the truck off the ground? Use an alignment punch and center the bolt hole... Your overload springs are twisted and that gives me the impression that the axle is tweeked to one side too much... Don't be afraid to show it who's boss! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Take the bolt out of the other end of the shackle and bolt the leaf spring to the shackle first, then attach the shackle to the hanger. You'll get more leverage to align the hole that way. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    We all had to start somewhere.... I remember replacing worn draglink ends as my very first K5 project 2 years ago. I think I even posted pics.......
