We got it good last year, 6" of snow with about an 1 1/1" of ice on the top and I know what you mean by the 2x4's, all I had to do was clap real hard and the trees would come apart....

should have seen what we got out here a few years ago in the big ice storm, 6-8 inchs of ice, all the hydro towers toppled, it was really really bad, only a few hours from me.

I want snow dangit, but nooooooooooooo we got 70 degrees in january.............what the heck, last yr there was 18" of snow on the ground, granted it was only there for a week then it was 40, but 70 is ridiculous. It feels like its spring already..........does that mean itll be hotter in the summer? If so.........I want negative temps lol. I cant stand anything 80 or above.......

[IMG] there was no door gap... it was solid ice. Even the passenger side was solid at the top, I used an entire can of de-icer to thin the ice enough to crack open the drivers door, and I used another can and let the truck run for 30 minutes to get the ice on the drivers door and windsheild to where I could scrape it off...

Ice storms would be so beautiful if they weren't seo devestating. I remember the one several years ago in eastern Canada and northern New England. Ice toppled everythihng. I am sure a few of us on here live there. I was going to college in Maine at the time and returned right after break to see everything encased in ice. All of the birch trees were completely bent in half touching the ground. It was like walking through a forest of glass. Not to mention the 6+ inches of solid ice on the roads. It was still the most amazing thing thing I have seen. Big Truxx, I think you live near where I was. I was in Unity, ME.... Canaan, that is right near Skowhegan, right?

I rember that storm. My guard unit was activated for it. We spent 2 weeks in Calis. We drove 5 ton trucks down power lines and never left a mark.
