I just watched the weather channel, and they're predicting a major ice storm from Texas through Illinois. Are you prepared (again) Bubba?

Yup, I'm improve my firemaking capabilities......................:haha: :haha: :haha:

So far, we're staying dry. The forecast has downgraded a lot for us to the point we're now expected light snow over the next couple of days and some crackass cold air temps............................

But it looks like our OKC folks are getting bent. If you can imagine it snowing and icing up in LA, that's about what OKC gets to be when they get hit with this stuff. :D

The last time I checked the forecast for my are we have the possibility for up to 2" of ice. :(

Ice is already starting to stick to fences, trees, high line wires.

    sik: You in OKC?

Right now the precip is just sleet. Granted the roads are a little slick, but the idiots that drive here think it's 65* and dry:doah: I swear, everytime we have a storm it's the same thing, "Yep, today's my first day on planet Earth". Damn, it does this every year, and the same result. Worse than monkeys ****in' a football.
Well, I leave work in a couple of hours, load down on brew, and call it a day:D

I had a few trucks in OK this morning. One was getting sleeted on in Lawton, as soon as he crossed the river back to TX, the temp jumped about 30 degrees. They've changed the f'n forecast down here 3 times in the last 24 hours. It's supposed to be 30 deg and icing here in the morning. I pulled the Little Rock weather cause I've got a truck heading out through there in the morning and its supposed to be 58 deg up there w

My opinion is the Weather people don't know wtf is going on.

    No doubt.......
I only worked 4 hours today so that I could get home at a decent hour before the real ice started building up on the roads. I saw several cars in the ditch's and people still doing 65-70 on the back roads. I was talking to the wife on my cell about her sister going to work and I said she was retarded. Well now she's a retard with her bashed up stang on the back of a wrecker:rolleyes:
I stopped at the store and made sure I had provisions for at least 4 days and plenty of adult beverage to help me over come the trauma that I am about to face of being stuck in the house for the next 3-4 days..........

Tulsa is in pretty bad shape road wise......It's been kinda sleeting all day here in Wagoner(30 minutes south of Tulsa), will be really slick once it get cold enough for the roads to freeze.

yeah Okc is already fairly slick. Nothing a good 4x4 can't handle. But only one fourth the way through with the bulk coming Saturday. Temps in low single digits by Tuesday:doah: . Btw, didn't realize there where so many damn Okies here.

We got a fair amount last night here in Owasso (10 mins north of Tulsa). Didn't do much today, but the forecast shows about 28 more hours before it stops.

Taken when I finally ventured out about 2. None of this is snow, mainly ice pellets. Doesn't give at all even when driving on it.
