Lazy Monday afternoon here in Key West. I am watching Speed (you know...the bus can not go below 50 mph or it explodes) and they just got to the airport scene when Keanu Reeves steps off the bus and onto the running board on a black Suburban. When he did this, he held on to a series of bars welded to the roof of the Suburban. I kinda liked them. I may try to fab some of these and make a cross over for a light bar. These bars would match perfectly to the rock sliders I am also fabing now. Has anyone seen these for sale somewhere??? Or, does anyone have similar devices installed??

That sounds like a cool idea, but they would have to blend in really well with the body in my opinion. I'd like to see some pics.

<font color=blue>There's a place called Wheeled Coach Industries Inc. that primarily builds ambulances, some firetrucks, some police vehicles, and a few specialty trucks (like the Secret Service type Burban you mentioned from the movie), although they may not admit that they build them, LOL.

As far as I know, they do not sell to the public, but, they may have a referral for you, or may be willing to tell you of someone that does make the handles that you are looking for.

You can reach them at www.wheeledcoach.com or (408) 677-7777<font color=green>

    Good luck.
