    its the hose with the inline filter in it... is that the fuel inlet to the carburetor? i dont know anything about these ancient pieces of **** so help me out here.

    yes it is. I got confused on that one too whenever I put an edelbrock on my truck. my quadrajet has the inlet in the front center so I tried to hook it up in the same place on the edelbrock which turns out the be the pvc port. so yeah that is where the fuel line goes.

    ok, if the Ford Blue didnt tip you off enough, you'll notice the coil wire just above the CK5 logo. he's correlating with those horse riding focksticks.

    you guys guessed it... it belongs to a guy i work with, its a 71 ford f-250 with a 390 in it. and only 40K orig miles on it.... its an old farm truck.

    thats a good carb btw nothing wrong with them other than they use a bit more gas than you want on a daily driver

    i have one for sale, a 1406 identical to that one

    its a good carb if you dont mind something that doesnt get the best fuel economy, does not make the best power, and loads up at any hint of a jolt, or being off camber.
