Ok let me simplify this, I had another post about this, and no one has responded, perhaps I rambled, and no one understood the question. I just need to know how to set the idle back on my 86 with rochester quadrajet with electrisc choke. Please help, as soon as posible.thanks,
    Ike

There's and idle screw near the throttle linkage. It rests on a cam with 2 steps on it(fast, intermediate, slow idle) HTH

Curb idle speed is set on the drivers side of the carb. Screw in, idle up. Screw out, idle down. Idle mix as well will change idle speed/quality, but if that hasn't been messed with, ignore that. Choked idle RPM is set on the passenger side.
