I know this sounds dumb, But my truck is in a remote location and I need some dimensions right now for an accessory. Anyone out there with a 83 Full size... I need to know the width of the roof.. The length from back of the truck to the windshield.. and the length of the cap. PLEASE if anyone out there has some time to kill.. Help me out :-)

I've looked everywhere online, even at brochures for the 83.. I cant seem to find this information anywhere.

I've never seen anything like that on-line but then theres a whole lot of stuff on-line that I haven't seen yet...lol
Right now it's 10 deg. outside and snowing lightly.
Now you want the whole roof area and the width right?

    On my '90-
32.5" Top of windshield to back of metal roof
58.5" Drip edge to drip edge
8'1" Top of windshield to end of topper

Hope this helps; should be same dimensions as your '83

Thanks ALOT Plow! I needed the info for a possible Roof Rack and a sunroof. I may end up with the sunroof under the rack.. We'll see how that works. Now to just choose a Blazer worthy rack.

Highlander, If in fact plows 90 is the same as my 83.. I no longer need the info :-)

P.s. Be THANKFUL there is alot you havent seen on the internet Hehe

    Thanks to you both
Since we are on the subject, do the drip edge's run all the way down the blazer? Or are they just above the doors? If I remember correctly.. its only above the doors.

The drip dam runs from 3" forward of the tip of the vent window(kind of even with the top of the windshield) to about halfway down the rear side of the door opening.
