    put a 6.5LTD into a K5, would I be mating it to a nv4500 or a sm465? or would they both work? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I know the 4500 would bolt up since you could get one from the factory behind a 6.5 and I'm pretty sure that the 465 will bolt up also since the 6.5 and the 6.2 are pretty similar....

You'll probably need an aftermarket bellhousing (or so I've been told...)

The factory NV4500 bell has the slave and stuff on the passenger side and what I've been told is that there may be front driveline interference. I don't know that for sure though.

NP208 and NP241 with 32 spline inputs should bolt right up to the NV4500. Shifter location is a little farther forward than a SM465 so the floor hole will need to be modified too.

Fit shouldn't be a problem if you get an advanced adapters bell housing. They have the slave cylinder on the drivers side. I've done this conversion in my 6.2 Blazer so if you're serious about it PM me and I'll tell you everything you need to know.
