Let's just say you could have a nice house and yard with all the comforts you need anywhere in the world, where would you choose to live?
It could be in the mountains, on a beach, desert, big city or whatever you like.
I'm thinking of moving to warmer weather in the future and want to find a place where the people are friendly, the beer is cold and the water is warm but that's only what I'm thinking. What about you?
Oh, don't let your work help make your decission, pretend it doesn't matter.
Say you won the lotto or something.

Omaha, Ne. Just because that's where most of my friends live. I plan on moving back there either this summer or next.

Pretty much anywhere an orange tree will grow. Cold weather kills them (and me). I don't mind visiting snow, but I do not want to live with it. Between the driving hazards, cold, salt, cold, shoveling and cold - not for me.

On forty acres in Roakoke, Virginia in the Appalachians. There's hiking, hunting, fishing, and its not too far out of civilization for my wife.

If I was going alone, it would be Ketchum, Idaho.

Arizona, Arizona, & did I say Arizona.

The wheeling is some of the best in the West, the weather is awesome, and you can live in Payson, Prescott, and it's got the best of both climates. Warm & Cold.

I have lived all over the world, my dad was in the Coast Guard all his life, east coast, west coast, overseas. You name it I've lived there almost.

I love Arizona, and would have a hard time leaving here. No more than about 500 miles from any type of wheeling you want.

500 miles to Moab, 500 miles to Farmington, NM, 350 miles to Las Cruces, NM, 200 Miles to Parker,AZ. 600 miles to Johnson Valley, CA. 100 Miles to Flagstaff, AZ where the snow is. 400 Miles to Mexico.

All you need is a good tow rig, and you can do whatever you want in AZ.....

    See you in AZJ!!!

I would have to have two, a nice big compound in Idaho or Montana (too many hippes already here) for the summer home and hunting and fishing, and a beach house on So. Padre Island TX (grew up real close to there) for the winter and hunting and fishing. Best of both worlds.

Have to agree with the orange tree theroy. Ga is still a little cold in the winter but a little closer to the mountians in the summer but north florida does sound very nice or La could be good, even have some kin down there. Think some of there property is even in florida for that matter. Warm where the women wear less.

Besides Amsterdam, I would have to agree with Garberville. Lucky for me I have some property there, so one day I'll be living your dream. :cool1:
