To my understanding, yes, they are going to be made. Still in the R&D faze right now. I'll post up as I get more information.

I know a few people have sent in the tail light buckets and lenses myself included. I guess it's up to D2M Technologies.

[/ QUOTE ]They will cost around $125.00 , but will be well worth it in my opinion.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think it's all that high of a price when you consitter how much it's going to cost D2M Technologies to set up the equipment and R&D to get these into production.

I'm not saying the cost is excessive/unwarranted, I'm saying that for the forseeable future (10 years atleast?) i cant imagine a scenario where I'd have $125 to spend on my truck... and it'd go towards new tail lights (especially when I can get some trailer lights for $5). I'd rather buy some new tools... or something that makes my rig more capable... or reliable or something that wont just get bashed my a big rock and broken anyway.

I'm gussing anyone doing this won't be putting them on a trail beater. These would be great on tow rigs w/ a big light draw or on a street driven truck. When I go LED on my trail rig it will be LED trailer lights. I've got regular trailer light in it now and haven't broken one yet.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm more into mud then rocks, but I hear where you're comming from. I do some trails with med. size rocks, so some tail light protection may be in order.
