A friend of mine has been breaking axle shafts. He has a late model with IFS and a 6 inch lift and 36inch tires. He hasn't been able to find better than stock shafts. Does anyone make stronger shafts for the IFS or is he out of luck?

  2. Tell your friend to stop messing w/ IFS and convert to solid front axle last months fourwheeler did a tech article on it, I think....

I sold my 74 to my best friend so he could join the K5 family...

Tell your freind too look at www.offroadunlimited.com was just there and they sell a bolt on conversion for 750.It's expensive but a solid axle will fix alot of problems.Solid axles are easy to find and get better parts for too.
