Blazer wont start, cranks but wont start, have fuel delivery. Question is, how do I check if the coil is working?

    HEI ignition.

    Thanks, /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

An easy, although probably not the safest way, to tell if da sumbitch is working is to pull a plug wire and and hold it to the frame while someone cranks it over...if you see sparks then the coil works and vice versa...

put a screw driver in a plug wire and set it so it is close to something metal and crank it over and see if there is spark /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
