I\'m in over my head, 35-spline hub Q?

I've been doing some searching and reading some threads about problems with the Warn 35-spline hubs hitting the end of the stub shaft. I've got the same problem so apparently I need a new bearing race(part 382S?). Can someone tell me what company makes 382S and where I could buy them from? Also what all is involved in the replacement? Finally, are they expensive? Sorry to ask so many questions but I gotta get this fixed before something nasty finds its way into my axle. Thanks ahead of time /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That part number is is all you need, go to any good parts house and they should be able to use it. Find someone that stocks BCA or Timken brand bearings and give them the number. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Sorry, I don't have any idea on the price. Also, some races are only sold with the bearing so you may have to buy more than you want to get what you need.

That part # is the inner bearing of the hub. And, it is
    a Timken part #.
The Warn hubs for the 35 spline are not the greatest.
Tera Flex has a set out and are warrantied

The bearing is @ $12 and the race is seperate unlike the
outter bearing that comes as a set.
You can get Timken from Autozone.

Yeah, I knew the Warn 35 spline hubs aren't too great so I actually went with the Milemarker units. I was also sold on the fact that they have a spring loaded mechanism which allegedly ends the need to have to move the truck back and forth to get them to lock. Unfortunately they haven't installed as planned either. If I can't get these to work, maybe i'll go with the Tera Flex units. Anyway, thanks for the advice again, this is incredibly helpful. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The Tera-Flex hubs are relabeled MM's, so if your MM's don't work you will not like the TF either.

Well the MMs fit on one side but not on the other. Maybe I'll try swapping them side to side to see how it works. I've heard that can help on the Warns in some situations.

That race you refer to is the carrier bearing race for the Dana 60. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I ground my end stubs pretty good and have had no more trouble.
