My 12 year old says...."so dad....if I get 6 over the fence home runs in games this year can we start looking for a car to fix up that I can drive when I turn 16?" and of course Dad says Yes, thinking 6 home runs, hes come close to the fence but hasnt gone over and he might get 1 or 2 but 6...never happen.

So we have had 3 practices and the season dosent start till April 21st and He's already hit 1 and hit the fence twice. And hes using a wooden bat, (I hate to think what he will do when he breaks his Stealth gamebat out) I think Im in trouble....but thats a good thing :D

How deep did that hook get set?

Tell ya what man its a good thing, even if it cost you some money... It will give the kid something to spend his money on, occupy his time and hell learn alot of skills along the way... id get it for him at the end of the season either way:wink1:

My daughter plays softball, she is 13 now. When she was 9 my dad and I told her we would pay $25 each for every home run including in the park home runs. The last 3 years we have paid out about $1100 together.

Last year I got him the 360 because he pitched a 6 inning no hitter. I did tell him since they went to 85 pitches this year if he could go a whole game and win it would count as 1 home run, also told him a grand slam would count as 2

He wants my Blazer, so either that or a SWB mid 80's C/K-10. He like the look of the 70's pu but at 12 hes already 5'-10" and I think he needs something with more room.

Ha, thank ya. You mentioned in the first post that he wanted a car. I thought he might be into the muscle car stage.
