On the front lines, when you bolt the new ones back up to the caliper does the bolt with the hole in it have to line up exactly to the hole on the line?

Nope....fluid flows into a small chamber in the block at the end of the line, then into the holes in the banjo bolt, then into the caliper.

Nope. You can turn the banjo bolt wherever you want to get the best clearance so that the brakeline clears and does not hit anything in the path of the turning radius. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
