Just like it says, I want to spray on my duplicolor bed liner. Can I use a regular paint gun or does it need rejetted/nozzle or is there a special bedliner gun? There are a couple on ebay I'm looking at. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

One of the bedliner companies sells one for $35.00, and I think it is Duplicolor. O'Rielly Automotive has them. You need a siphon feed gun with a 1/4 inch tip.

it called a shautz (sp?) gun, just a normal spray gun, but with a huge tip. Make sure you get the right one, i did a bedliner before and due to the hole being to small i had to thin it out, and it just turned thin and britle, it was epoxy base (brittle) go with something that is polyurethane.

I think the gig tip is used becouse some of the liners like herculiner have ruber chips in them you can buy a kit from thir site with a gun.

Be sure to read all the fine print first, to find out what type of respirator you will need to use. I'm sure that breathing in bedliner mist is NOT good for you. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

It's called a undercoating gun. I'm going to shoot hurculiner. This gun will pass huge solids no problem.

The Duplicolor is junk. It's thick paint.

How does Hurculiner hold up? As good as Rhinoliner? Is there a difference between the two, other than a price gap?

I ask because I plan on using some form of spray-on bed liner to the bed and under my truck.

rhino is thicker, sound deadens better, and is generally tougher. All of that said, I luv my herculiner. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif its cheap, seems to hold off rust, is purdy tough if u prep right, and you can say "I did that myself". /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
