What does it cost to have a good website made? Like a flash site or something with a flash intro? Anyone out there in CK5 land good at that kind of stuff who might want to whip some thing up?

It would be cheaper to not have a flash intro.

i have done some flash stuff.... and recently made a website. Here are some of the flash intros i made a couple years ago. These have sound as well, so turn on you speakers if thier not on, because the animation goes with the sound.

It all depends if you want a contract to maintain and add stuff to the site throughout the year. A good developer will cost ya a min of 1500-2000 for a basic site + 1year support. Well that's at least what I usually charge

Why not something like the www.4x4syndicate.com website?
Simple and to the point is almost always better...

Or is that the site you are trying to change

alot of the sites I do are confidential, and are all dev stuff(sql, php etc) Everything is made from scratch shopping cart, ticket tracking system etc. Its mainly the back end that I make. I do not make too many front pages etc.

heres the basic front end my friend mike and I designed. We are writing the tracking service program, were you can submit a problem, and a technician will call you or email you when he recieves it. http://www.dwerks.com/

and heres the asshat I used to work for. He mutalated some of my stuff, but he somewhat kept my front page design, he just added a little Jack daniels to it(f'in idiot)

We did set up something up as a temp site with the same software that we used for the club web site but it is real basic and generic. I might read the owners manual that came with the software and maybe I can make something a little more appealing.

I own a web design & hosting business and I wouldn't touch an all-flash site for under $2k

A flash intro can be had for a few hundred if it's not too extravigant, I just bill flash work hourly at $50/hr.

One thing to consider, is search engines HATE flash, so if you're looking to have an Search Engine Optimized site stay far away from flash
