I'm guilty of that, too. Going somewhere with the goal of buying one or two things and spending xx-amount of dollars and end up going overboard.

Don't fee bad, it happens to all of us.
One time I was at my uncles house up in Canada playing poker with the guys.
My uncle decided to make us some pizza rolls so he heats up the oven
and throws them in. In about 20 min.s he pulls them out and it's a wad
of pizza rolls wraped in melted plastic. I guess he didn't realize that he had
to take them out of the plastic container they came in and I guess he didn't
    cook very often.

Lists are always good but it's walmart that did it... let's just say you're lucky you got out of there under a hunder bucks. Boycott that place and support small local businesses when you have the time. Fight the power.

My wife shops there all the time, I only get fishing lures and ammo mostly.

And I'll be glad to support local business when they stop trying to ream me on prices. .45 ACP is $9.50 @ WM and $16.99 @ Gene Taylor's, same brand. I already go through well over a hundo in ammo a month, not willing to make it two hundo.

Yeah well I'm sure walmart buys it for a whole lot cheaper then they do... That's why they can't compete with prices. I'm sure they'd be more then glad to if they could. It just sucks... maybe you they have stuff that walmart doesn't carry so instead of buying it online maybe you could get it from them? I don't know it's just hard for people to make a decent living owning their own business with someone like walmart in town. We have two of them in my town. I hate going there even though I still find myself wondering around in there from time to time. Full time student, it's hard to find the time and money to shop else where.

I have always been "get in and get out" shopper guy. Even at Wallyworld. Sure, I'll swing over to the magazine rack and "browse" sometimes.... but I hardly ever just go down isles just "window shopping" and picking things up on a whim. One must always keep in mind that $ spent on anything else, is $ not spent on your 4x4....

I always pick up everything I want, and then I leave with about half of it, the stuff I actually need. The other half gets thrown wherever I feel like putting it when I realize that I don't need it.

"Oh, this DVD gets winged on top of the dog food. Oooop, this tool gets thrown in the toy bin. Hey, this cheese can go in with the lobsters."

They lock the lobsters up now.
