    Powerful shrugging remains one of the most influential physical gestures. Just look at the governator. Do not underestimate the raw power of the shrug. Seriously, work on your shrugs and watch your overall upper body strength increase. Heavy shrugs really helped with my grip strength in particular. Shrug away.

    Stick with your program dude. Completely exercise your body, don't try to do spot training. Every muscle in your body helps burn calories. Stick with it.

    i have to be carefull when i shrug cause i rotate my sholders which will kill my rotator thingy.....im still trying to get the correct form for shrugging >.<

    Use a straight barbell - dumbbells tend to exagerate the rotation.

    x2 We used to do it on a cybex so the track would prevent you from doing anything stupid.
