Just curious, any of you guys know of a manufacturer that makes all Black Beadlock look-alike rims? I found one that makes the beadlock look alikes.. But they are all chrome.

    Thanks

imitation beadlocks are kinda pricey considering that they arent even functional. Why not just get regular rims?

btw, anyone ever got out of a ticket by telling a cop that the beadlocks u r running are really fake beadlocks? lol! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think he's referring to making "imitation" beadlocks. Just superglue some rivet heads to the standard rim.

Or he might be talking about puting superglue on the tirebead and putting sheetmetal screws through the rim into the tire bead like they do on some drag cars to keep the tire from spinning on the wheel

Obviously this isn't a knock on you, but that is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Can't imagine anyone wanting to do that on a 4x4.

Well it works good on drag cars but theres no side loading of the tire bead just the tire trying to spin on the rim not getting popped of the bead like fourwheelin' /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I've seen 'em at the track too but just like those damn c-clip eliminators, you can't use 'em on a 4x4...
