Well, that poses a second question; /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif I have been running 90 psi, so is is there a way to service an OLD gun to get better performance /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif, or should I try a new gun? (the one I have is at least 20 yrs old!)

Theoretically you don't want more than 90 PSI or you could damage most guns. I don't have a regulator yet so I just deal with it.

I have an Ingersoll-Rand 2135TI. If your gun is weak, get a better one. I recommend IR. Look for their "Super" or "Ultra" duty products. The 2135TI is the most powerful 1/2" drive impact on the market. It's a great gun...nice and potent. I rarely find places it won't loosen a bolt, no matter how rusty it is. Even old nasty u bolts are no match for the 2135TI in most cases.
