and i was still in it......wth lol. i look out my window and she's giving me the stink eye to!

So i hop out and im like you allright lady? She wouldnt look at me and all she kept saying is "Its ok, its allright, everything is fine now, everything is ok everything's ok" and finnaly im like wtf did you do lady and that snapped her to attention.

I look over and i wanted to laugh, but i didnt.....she nailed my hitch, all of it haha. she was an inch from my bumper, and the other 8 inchs or so was in her car somewhere. It totaled her bumper, fender, tire, and hood. not one scratch on my truck.

Well she gets back in, pops it into reverse and rips her bumper off and she just has this psycho look.... well the Govt police show up (Since i was on base) and they ask what happened and the lady steps up all proud and says "This Asshole here backed into my car as i drove by, he never even looked blah blah blah" So i instantly go in to asswhooping mode and the officer tells me to get in my truck and wait.

10 minutes later i here the cop saying that basicly its out of his hands, she moved her car, theres no damage to mine, she was on the wrong side of the road and something else i missed, but it will be up to our insurance to pay.

the cop walks up with a grin that told me he new she was an idiot and gave me my info and said that there's basicly no way this was my fault, she shoudnt have moved her car, and she was ont he wrong side of the road. let along its clear that she moved my truck a good 8 inch's in my spot, and i was as far forward in my spot as i could be so it was clear i wasnt backing out since i was going into work.

i coulda choked that bitch, after i made sure she was allright, she turned around and blamed it all on me. stupid bish.

dang at least the cop was on your side. the way my luck goes it would somehow be my fault, like I parked crooked or something. hope everything works out ok.

lol if i had backed into her the damage woulda been more like a puncture, not 3 foot of hole and she never touched my bumper

I know how you feel. A little over a year ago at work I was driving my 10 wheel dump in the right lane on the freeway. Just as I got past a get-on ramp some dipsh*t in a little fourwheeler shot past me coming from the shoulder. As he gets in front of me I see him and his wife looking back over their shoulder and then pull off onto the shoulder. I figure something's up so I pull over as well.

I get out of the truck walk around the front and the right side of my front bumper is pulled forward about 2 feet. I'm like great...they hit me. I go check on them and they're fine. I check out their car and they have a 2 foot long gouge in the left side of their rear fender. DPS shows up and escorts us off the freeway to get out of traffic. The driver, who turns out to be 87, tells the trooper that I hit him from behind. The trooper proceeds to look at the damage and after listening to my side of it tells the guy there's no way I could have hit him, it's obvious he sideswiped me. The old man doesn't agree and continues to argue with him about it even after he tells him repeatedly to go sit down in his car. The trooper was getting pissed. I was hoping he would whip out the taser...he he.

The cool part was when he got issued his little "Have a nice day" slip. I can still hear him ranting and raving all the way back to his car. To make matters worse his insurance company refused to pay for damages to my truck. The adjuster tried to tell my boss that the Officer was wrong and that it was my fault...amazing she was able to come to that conclusion 2,000 miles away. I think my boss is still dealing with that crap.
I remember thanking the trooper for handling things the way he did, I said that more often than not we(truckers) tend to get blamed for what happens even though it's not our fault. He agreed with me, saying that we get treated like sh*t.

That's the reason that I leave the pintle hitch in most of the time...
