    Ordered the INFINITY KAPPA 462.7cfp 4"x6" PLATE SPEAKERS today for the doors of the Alero. So after I get it back from the bodyshop, the craptory speakers are comming out and the INFINITY KAPPA 462.7cfp are going in. :D Infinity Kappa 462.7cfp [​IMG]

    I still need too talk to my car stereo guy too see what bass-blocker he recomends for these speakers.

    I replied in your post about bass blockers. Sent you a link to Crutchfield. Now I see this post, click your link and its Crutchfield. One of us is not paying enough attention. :D Nice speakers. :waytogo:

    Crutchfield is usely high priced. I need too check the local car stereo shops.

    I agree with you, but they have what you need. I lived in a smaler town for years and they were my only hope. :doah:

    I've used Car Domain for a few items. Kind of a alturnitive to Crutchfield. A wire adapter that Crutchfield wanted $12.95 for, I got through Car Domain for $4.99 .

    Should have the car back from the body shop in a couple of days, so I'll get too install my new speakers in the doors. :D :D :D

    Yeah. No structural damage what so ever. I'll be happy too get it back and get ride of the world's most BORING rental car.

    So I'm finally getting off my arse and going too install the INFINITY KAPPA 462.7cfp in the doors of the Alero tomorrow afternoon. Too damn hot today, tomorrow is suposta be cooler. Have my wire adaptors, and bass blockers.

    Installed and sounds incredable !!!!!!! The highs really come out, and the mids are so much clearer. Very bright and clean sound even at lower volume levels. Just what I wanted. Sure I like music loud, but I also like a rich full sound at lower volume. It's a night and day difference, I didn't relize what I was missing. The craptory speakers sound "muddy" compaired to the Infinity Kappa's.
