Okay, I just bought a pair of Infinity Reference 6953i 6x9s on Ebay.

Just how good are these speakers? I know the ones in the stock Chryslers are damn good, so are these better? I need more accustics. My subs give me plenty of bass.

I'm either adding 5 1/4s or 6 1/2s to my truck too, haven't decidd on size or manufactuer yet, but I'm open to suggestions on that too.

They are pretty good speakers. Are you going to amplifie them at all??? If not I would run a small capacitor or bass blocker since you have a sub already. I would suggest about a 50mf cap. that will help cut out some of the low end that the woofer already produces and keep the 6x9 form woeking to hard.

What kind of 6 1/2s should I run?

It is really just a matter of opinion. I really like the Alpine 6.5" Coaxes!! But just go into a quality shop and listen for yourself.

How does a 120 watt Alpine amp sound on these? I've got one! :)

that would do a good job on the mids and highs... as for what else you should get... well like it was said... look into it.. listen to a bunch of different speakers and go with what you like...
