    i just bought a rockford rfx-8115, and i need to install it in my 84 gmc jimmy i know someone was selling install kits and i would like to purchase one, also how much work is involved in installing one myself, cutting the dash and etc... thanks

    There is no dash kit for an '84 dash. Its all about the cutting man. The only thing you might be able to use is a wiring harness adapter...IF the stock radio is still in your truck. I don't know who sells any of that stuff here, but you can go to any install bay and pick up the harness. 70-1677-1 is the Metra part number. Just ask for the "old" GM harness adapter.
