I bought a MTI CAI from my friend, he is fixing to sell his 94 Z28. Well I paid a $110 for intake and was thinking the hardest part would be unbolting the spalsh pannel and getting the filter in. I was dead wrong, I over looked the fact that his car was a MAF and mines is speed density. Well to my delight the CAI didn't reach the intake elbow. there was about a 4 or 5 inch difference. the size of a MAF sensor. So we had to cut out some metal pipe the compensate for the lack of a MAF sensor. It worked and I was happy, well I realized another thing, the Intake hose that goes to the air pump wont stay on! Is there any thing I can do to make it stay on? I was thinking about buying some small circle clamps, the kind that you screw in to place. Would this work? If I get it on tight enough it should stay on right?
