Is there a trick to wrestling the white instrument housing out of the dash? (without /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif) This monster is not moving from my K5. Plus the PO broke one of the mounts so I want to be careful not to cause any more damage - I need to fix the right turn signal indicator - not working. The turn signals work fine, so it must be the circuit to that bulb.

    Thanks,

If they have never been out, they can be tough. Start with the left side. lift it up towards the windsheild. You might have to take a small screwdriver and pry it up a little to get it past the dash metal. Once that part is up, slide it to the left. Then you can usually pull it foward enough to disconnect wiring and speedo. If you have an automatic, Don't forget to remove the cable from the steering column sleeve.
