I have come to the conclusion that i am going to insure the Jimmy as a show vehicle. I can get out of going through emissions testing if I do this. It's not my daily driver anyway and I don't feel like having cats put on and probably still fail.

Does anyone have experience with insuring their K5 as a show vehicle? All I can find online is a bunch of companies that won't insure "off-road" vehicles with showcar insurance.

if you have family that live farther south in illinois, use their address to register the truck. then you don't have to worry about emissions at all./forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Try Farmers insurance if they are in your state. I have a buddy that has a 72 Powerwagon insured as show
even with the snow plow mounted on it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
