I want to change my intake manifold in the future, I'm considering either Edelbrock or Holley (Weiand) I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Edelbrock, but haven't hear anything about the Weiand. Has anyone used it? Also, I have the stock heads on my '90 350 TBI, are they cast iron or aluminum? I haven't looked at them yet...

The Weiand Stealth is a good manifold. I'm running an Edelbrock and love it. Either one and you won't be disappointed. Stock heads are cast iron. The new 5.3 truck motors are the first that have stock aluminum heads (I'm trying to figure out a swap into my Blazer with this new motor)

The performer is made to run Idle to 5500 or so. That would be a good choice for a wheeler... That is what I run, but you dont really notice much of a difference with an intake swap.
