My neighbor (my parts pimp) has a Weind Team G single plane intake that he would prolly sell. It was on his 3/4 ton rig, had an engine fire. It is new but a lil umm chared.
Stick it in a bead blaster and it would be fine.
Unless you are in a hurry.. He took off for a month.
There are usualy shloads of em on e-bay for dirt cheap.
As for the tranny.. if yer heart is set on a slush box I have a TH400 short shaft fixed 1350 yoke.
And if you are lookin for a tranny to put behind that 355 I would go with a 400.
Actualy if ya have to have a slush box the 400 is the only way to go.
As for a hard hitting one.. I have been thinking about pulling the one that is in my 73 and swapping in the other one.
I had the 73's rebuilt 2 years ago and had them install a B&M stage 2 kit.
It was cool when it was my DD but now I just haul stuff and it is a real PITA when I am loaded and nail it. I removed the downshift switch when I popped a u-joint. Now when loaded I just roll into the throttle instead of just floor it.
Shoot me a PM if yer interested

I have a 2wd 350, It may need a rebuild I don't know but if you want it we can work something out. My buddy builds some BA trannys so I could ask him what a hi po rebuild would cost......
