Anybody running Super Swamper Thornbirds? How'd they work? (mud/dirt/snow/road) I'ld like a pretty agressive tires and can put up with the noise, flatspotting, and wandering but I hate see my expensive tires (AKA: Super Swamper SX's) wear out so fast.

    TIA

Majority of the people here do not like the Thornbirds. I on the other hand loved my old set. They worked great off road. However they could not be balanced and rode very rough.

MudFrog, How bad is the tire noise. I'm running Boggers right now and I'm looking for something a little more gentle on my ears. Have you heard Boggers before? How would you compare.

A guy I used to know had them on a Scout International....He said they were O.K. I don't think he's going to get another set after these wear out. He never really talked about them...

    Savage,
The tire noise was the loudest I had owned. Other than these I've really only owned/heard BFG MT/AT. They had a constant howl, especially at interstate speeds. I can't really tell you what they sound like compared to Boggers though.
