I'v been using IE7, I guess since last spring when MS released the beta version. I like it. Have had no issues whatsoever with it. Works good everywhere on the net, its fast, user frendly, and havent had any seceurity problems. My kids like it so i guess it must be ok

Also been using IE7 beta for at least 4 or 5 months. Huge improvement over any previous IE...I really like it.

The reduced size of the task bar is a bonus as well, very minimal, which just means more room for the good stuff. Tabbed browsing, and like Dontoe i also think it's cleaner looking than Firefox.

    you people make me :haha:

*newb voice* I bought my iMac cause it was perdy!

When IE decided to be 100% standard compliant like every other browser, I might consider using it for anything more than windowsupdate. Until then they can stop trying to rule the internet.

I was a bit leery of the Beta versions, but friends haven't mentioned any bad experiences with them either. On the task bars, I've always set them to auto hide.

Exactly.... when I have to write custom code & CSS specifically for IE it makes me wonder WTF they're thinking when they made it

Even if I wanted to use it, IE isn't available for Linux :D

WineX runs IE perfectly. Try running windows update from IE + WineX. Funny **** :D

Why would anybody do that? I mean, it's also possible to stick light bulbs in your anus but that doesn't mean you should do it :D :doah:

Why? To see what would happen.

and on the off chance someone @ M$ happened to see the logfile for windows update that day, and notice a request from IE running inside Slackware 9.
