I've been noticing all the stores I use online are now charging sales tax... Huh? I don't really mind but when did this start?

You are actually supposed to be reporting things that you buy and pay the sales tax locally. :haha: :haha:

Sites that have physical locations in the state that you live (or the state to which the purchase is shipped) collect sales tax like they would have to at their store. There is, therefore, no place on the planet earth that Wal-Mart would be able to not charge sales tax, but a small outfit can.
