I've only seen last weeks episode so far. I have this last one recorded, just haven't watched it yet (been camping).

I enjoy it all right so far. It's interesting seeing a perspective from the early part of settling the west. When it was the trappers/hunters.

I'm loving it. I am a little disappointed, but not much. They are keeping good tabs on the history bit, even though the bit about running the buffalo over the cliff pretty well stopped when the horse came, but I doubt few people know that. I really like some of the details, though they just touch on them a little. The smallpox bit was good info, but I doubt very many people know that whole tribes almost got wiped out by it. The part showing just how rough a wagon train across the country at the time was pretty good stuff, though with the time constraints, it was pretty hard to really hit that hard.

All in all, it's a damn good series; just sad that the putzs in Hollywood don't feed us more of it.

Yeah it's a good series so far. Like You said they do a pretty good job on the history, but not in to much detail due to the time constraints. The best part is that it's on TNT so there really is no excuse to miss it.
