I've been a member of CTS (customtruckshowcase) for a while now, and I've been a member of suburbans and backcountryburbs yahoo email groups for several years as well. Hopefully I can help out as much as i learn from being a member to this site.

Personal info- I'm a 27 y.o. guy, 2 kids, and I'm engaged to be married in December of this year. To make the money I waste on my burb I work as an engineer for a consulting firm.

Thanks everyone. See ya on the boards!

    NICE BURB!

Hay what brand rack is that and what size? How did you mount it? I'm thinking about one for my 88 Burb pull truck. Need a place for 4 bikes when the family is camping.

    Thanks Rene!

Familiar faces are always cool to find. I'm still trying to settle in here and get familiar with how "things are done". The # of members here seems huge! Is that true?

Sweet ride Wade! I've got a '90 Sub that's been swapped to 3/4-ton stuff. Have some 35-inch Goodyear MTR's on the way, along with a 4-inch lift, and a 454 waiting to be installed. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif You'll find that Backcountryburbs is VERY quiet compared to this site. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I also find the format of the messages here MUCH easier to read. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Your burb sounds pretty sweet too! Someday I'll get a 454 as well, but right now my 350 has a lot of life left in it that I don't want to waste.

So yer on backcountry burbs, eh? You're right- I've gotten more replies here in the last couple hours than I'd get from a post to backcountryburbs in a week!

Stick around and spend some quality time reading old posts...I've learned more here in the time I've been here than in the 20 or so previous years. I thought I knew a fair bit about Chevy's before I came here...

I learn something new and valuable to me from this site almost every day. I'm still amazed at the collective knowledge freely given by people here.../forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

BTW, that is a wicked 'Burb you have there! /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif
