What is the difference in the IR 2135TI vs. the 2135 QTI beside the price? I want to buy one but was wondering what the price difference was about. What is different between the 2 beside the price?

QTi is the Quiet version. Has a foam muffler in the handle that makes it much quieter than the regular 2135Ti. Otherwise they are the exact same gun with the exact same parts inside.

I have a QTi, and love it. Everyone is always amazed at how quiet it is.

Is there any power difference? I know a guy that has the Snap-on impact with a muffler built in. He can switch b/t the 2 settings and he told me he can diffinetly tell the power differences b/t the 2.

The 2135 has 4 settings. Functional in both forward and reverse. I usually just leave mine on full power unless I am afraid I am going to break something, then I dial it down.

I will find out wich ones we use at work. Ours has the muffler and it does power them down a bit. I leave them out after a rebuild.

maybe a snap-on gun with the muffler kit?

I've had guys borrow my 2135QTi because their 2135 couldn't get the job done. Granted that is a gun thats been used a few years compared to mine thats been used for a year. But I've never felt ANY lack of power from mine.
