Government spokesman talking about an Iraqi that seems to hold more allegiance to the insurgence than the new givernment: -- "He should expect to be killed. Those who continue fighting the government can expect anything ranging from prison to the death penalty," he said. -- The Iraqi leadership makes a great point about war and it's losers/winners, basically considering the insurgents soldiers for thier country, but making a distinction between those who've killed americans and those who've not done any killing, but helped the insurgency. I think they're trying to talk down who can be talked down, and will blow up whoever can't be. Remember after reading it, they are not garaunteeing amnesty for anyone who has perpetrated violence. It looks to me like it's in it's "just an idea" stage right now. And, there's no mention of the groups that are beheading people, who are not exclusive to Iraq.
