Found a good deal on some wheels and tires. But the wheels came off an 8 lug 2001 F 350. Wondering if the bolt pattern is the same as a GM 8 lugs? Thanks

Oh, here is what he said:

"The wheels have a bolt pattern of 8 on 170mm (standard Ford 8-lug pattern ’99 to present), -18mm offset and 4 ¾” of backspacing"

From the sound of that, I don't think it will work.

Boss, I know the older GM, Dodge, and Ford 8 lug were all the same, but I don't know about the newer ones. If they will only fit 99+ I would have to say they are different than the older style, which is the style you have. I would call your local tire/wheel shop and ask them for specs for a mid 80's chevy 8 lug wheel and that of the 2001 fords and see what they say.

No they are not Boss. If you look at a catolog for wheels the Furd Superduty have a special wheel.[IMG]

Ford SuperDuty wheels are 8 on 170 mm hub-centric.

Conventional 8 lug, ie all Chevy and Dodge and Fords through '97, are 8 on 6 1/2" (165.1 mm) lug-centric. They WILL NOT fit.
