I just have not see the activity in any of the places I normally go is did the snow drive them away, to cold for no top not in to the day trip with no camping. What do you think? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Our club wheels year-round, some people actually wheel more in the winter because there are not as many other things going on. Here in Ohio the trails are also typically more challenging in the winter months because they are always wet.

The groups I usually head out with (as a passenger as of late unfortunately) seem to go out just as much, even more it seems, in the Winter.

I'm not sure where you are talking about Patrick, but if it's local places, I'd probably attribute it to the fact that the usual crowd out and about in NJ isn't really "wheeling" but more just out partying.

I kinda like the winter wheeling thing- so many less branches to scratch my paint. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I also dont mind the winter camping. Less people, no bugs.

<font color="blue">I just went today. There was only a couple inches on the ground though. There was a lot more 2 weeks ago. If you want to come up here, let me know.

<font color="blue">These trails start off in Mahwah and you can get to Ringwood through them, me and Yunit did 2 years ago. Theres enough trails to keep everyone busy all day, stock or wild. I'm probably going up tomorow for my birthday with some freinds

Someday my truck will be trail ready again, then I will head up to Mahwah with my chainsaw and cut some new trails. There are a lot of untapped resources in Mahwah, I have been all over with my quad and saw a lot of stuff that caught my eye.

<font color="blue">I've been up there as late as 3 or 4 am before, but I've never camped there. I'm sure you could camp up by the main tower. Theres an actual Boy Scout camp south of the main tower
