First off, I have cable modem and all other sites load real quick, even CNN.com, which is probably getting hits like crazy. This site takes a minute at times to load anything.

    Just me?

It's been like this for a few days at least. Half the time I just log off and go somewhere else out of frustration.

  7. i gave up and tryed to watch tv but to no avail. there was nothing on. i got so desperate for something to do that i actually mowed the lawn. man, that's bad. i've been successfully puting it off for weeks now. i hope the site problems are resolved soon or i'll be forced to do other menial household chores that i usually have my kids do.

This site is always slow. I don't know why because I don't know squat about computers. I have a dialup, and this site is always slower than others I'm visiting.

The problem isn't with our WAN Interfaces. Its with the webserver that ck5 is on. Either the load on it is massive, or there just isn't enough bandwidth being fed to it. Either way its tolerable and I have no complaints. Thanks Steve for the site....

What's a cable modem?? DSL???????????? I live in the styx and we have only a half decent dial up server. It is usually slow but nothing like it has been for a couple of days. Out here we are used to slow though, newspaper comes out once a week, birds fly backward, and like Garth says, the only thing that gets high is the utility bill.

Like to go sloppin' 'round in da mud in a rapid fashion....=)
