Is there a difference between the 12 bolt and 10 bolt pinion yokes. The reason for asking is that Noangels front yoke is messed up (10 bolt), and I have a good spare 12 bolt yoke and was wondering if I could get lucky by them both being the same diameter spline and spline counts, so I could put my good spare on her blazer?

Nope. 10 bolt runs a larger u-joint. Never figured out whay since it's a weaker axle. It will bolt on but you need a different seal I think.

Well, so much for wishful thinking, thanks for the info though Grim. Much appreciated.

Yep, the 10 bolt runs a 3r (inside snap ring) or 1350 series (outside snap ring) joint.

However, the real difference lies in the seal surface (ground hub diameter)
