was curious if anybody all ready made these or if there was a demand for them, if so I would like to get into making polyurathane engine and trans mounts for various years of GM trucks, as we all ready produce these engine mounts for Fieros and VTEC swaps for earlier year Hondas, your comments on these would be most appreciated

I think you would get most replies for the tranny/t-case mounts on the '85 up to '91 one-piece mounts.
Plenty of aftermarket companies already make the two-piece mounts for the '84 and older trucks.

my tranny bell housing snapped because of bad motor mounts so i went with new tranny and motor mounts in poly for my 74[IMG]

because I intended on making a poly mount for my transfer case on my 91 K5, as soon as the case arrives i will get to work and make dimensions, if you look at our Fiero website ( www.cwestco.com ) under "mounts" then you have a rough idea of what the engineering would be like

I viewed your site and the pics of the mounts. Pretty nice job and quality, it appears. [IMG]

Yeah, I don't see why not for you to make some poly mounts for the '85 to '91 trucks. Several of us on this site have already made a few comments about the lack of these mounts available thru the aftermarket. [IMG]

No doubt, if you were to make some, you will definitely get the supply and demand going thru this site!! [IMG]

An idea: try to make these poly mounts "direct replacements" as the stock rubber mounts. [IMG]

all of us here have reviewed the thread. As soon as I make my mount for my truck ( 91 K5 ) I will get on the ball here and produce these mounts. At this point it would look much like the " front engine mount" as veiwed on our website ( www.cwestco.com ) - the real question is how would I promote this?

I think you would find the largest market in the 1st gen (69-72)crowd as no aftermarket Poly engine mounts exist (to my knowledge). You might want to post this on the 1st gen board and see what they say.

you asked - I give!! - and I stick to my word, but only if I have a design that rocks ( which of course I will ) I just want to start branching out and starting a new product line, and it would be great if it were for parts that relate to me Blazer ( means parts for myself for my truck =-) )

I replaced my rubber mount less than 2 months ago, and the new one is starting to go bad allready[IMG]
I will have to do it again soon, but this time I'm changing the engine mounts to, just to see if they are the reason these gets ripped apart so easaly.
When you have them I would be interested in one over here in Norway.

Since it was my idea about the poly t-case mounts, are you gonna send me some to test?

I have one of the rubber one piece t-case mounts that Wes was talking about and like I told you about on the other board. If you need one to design it after you can use it as long as I can get it back (or a new poly one [IMG]). I don't have any problem sending it to you to look at and play around with. Let me know what you think.

    See Ya,
