Didnt want to hijack another thread, but I was wondering. If I want to use 15" wheels and tires on the 3/4 axles I just got for the K5, do I hav to grind the calipers? What if I want to do rear disk brakes on the 14BFF? Should I forget about 15's?

Yes, the amount depends on the wheel backspacing. I'm using rims with a BS of 4.25" and I had to grind the calipers and bend/grind the caliper bracket.

I had to lightly clearance one caliper on the rear disks. The castings were different enough on the two that I purchased from Autozone that it needed it.

There are quite a few guys running 15" rims on 3/4 & 1 ton axles....you can too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
