    i had to pull the tranny to replace the TC and flexplate, in the process i broke wat looks like either a vent tube thats been extended or some sort of vacuum line that hookes up to the carb, it looked like it was hooked up to the passenger side of the transmission. anyone know what this is?

    Are you running a TH350? Sounds like it might be your vacuum modulator line.......

    Well, if it is indeed your vac. mod. line, yup, it's important. Better make sure you get a replacement.

    wat does it do? doesnt look too hard to replace, just alot of grease to dig through.

    Tells your tranny when to shift up or down by facum instead of just the kickdown cable. Your truck will run terrible (vacum leak) and the tranny will be poppin gears like a rental quad.
