One day when I am wealthy and powerful /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif, I want to buy back a car my dad once had. A 73 vette to be exact. With the right info, such as vin and plate number, could I track the car down legally, or is this something that requires shady friends in high places? TIA

PS I only have one shady friend and he is a loser. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

With the plate and vin you should have no problem tracking it down. How about just using one of those car tracker internet search thingies that the people buying used cars use to see where the car has been and all it's history?

If you want the EXACT one, it's pretty slim you'll find it. Some crazy women could have totaled it, exploded it, or anything else /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
