So it has been almost a year now and it is driving me crazy. I have had these 4 guys appearently from the deep south ( as they talk about various cities down there) they come in pairs of two talking to eachother, but they overlap. I can hear them on about have a dozen channels, but not too well on some. I am in durango co at an elevation of 9000 feet. I thought skip came and whent with time, and there is no way these guys are running linears that big? Any thoughts?

It's skip. Skip is real bad durring the day light hours. It clears up after dark. Were 7 or 8 years into the 11 year cycle. So it's just something you gotta deal with durring the day.

Would have to agree and say skip. You dont have to have a linear to get distance. Lots of variables invovled.
