Is this truck rare or did I just miss something?

    I went junkyarding today and found a 87 3/4 ton Chevy....yeah not too exciting but it was a longbed stepside??? I have never seen one of these before Did I miss something along the way?

    No you didnt miss anything they did come that way, it wasnt a real popular option for obvious reasons. It just looks funky.

    They were actually pretty common - the railroads had tons of them, so did alot of other fleets.

    most I've seen had the regular fenders removed, and tool box style fenders added on.

    yeah seen these,mostly fleet use,kinda ugly though...still a bowtie!!!

    Just add normal fleetside box and look like a normal person.

    Either that or cut it down and make it a fleetside shortbox so it can be sweeeeeet like mine. :)

    Funny you should post this.
    Yesterday I was thinking about the truck my room mate in the Navy had.
    It was a long bed stepside.
    That rig was pure ugly. Bowtie or not.
