Now the starter goes out. Simple fix, not too expensive, but I have to wait a week to get at it because my eyes aren't healed up from the Lasik yet. This crap is getting on my last nerve...

Seems like that happens a lot. Finish up one big thing, only to have some stupid minor thing fail.

Thanks bro, but I have to get a starter put in before I can take the dang thing anywhere, so... Once I'm up and running, we'll have to hook up. Are you planning on coming to the meet and greet at my house?

    Since December 2003:

December 2003: Top end rebuild, blown head gasket (undrivable til Apr04)
July 2004: Tranny swap, old one grenaded (undrivable til Nov04)
March 2005: Total motor rebuild, spun bearing (undrivable until Feb06)
February 2006: Triple fuel line replacement (undrivable until Apr06)
April 2006: Starter goes bad, currently undrivable

What I still worry about? The idler pulley is going out, I think I have an exhaust leak, still have a bad driveline vibe, and a rash on my left teste that penicillin wont touch:eek1: .

What I need but am killing myself to get cash for:

4.56 14 bolt (guys holding it for me, should have it in two weeks): $275.00
B_to_C's front end & 8-6 lug adaptor (hope to get it end of may): $400.00
    CV driveshaft: $270.00
    Total: $845.00

    Where's that damned Powerball!!!???

And of course, we all know that if it had been one our beat up trail rigs, I wouldn't have had any problems. But since it was a beautiful red Jimmy (or a pretty silver longbed) the bling blinded me, discombobulated me, confused me.

That's the way it goes. Last year I dented the hell out of my truck on OCG, and that was when I still cared a little. Now that I don't care, I got one tiny dent this year on OCG.

Your chrome rays are dangerous. 70Jimmy's deep red paint was hypnotic due to the fact that that I have never had a Blazer with nice paint, and all of my friends have rattle can or primer paint jobs.
