I don't drink, and I don't sing (people with ears should be thankful) so I probably couldn't use that as an option.

Of course my style of carrolling would be driving around in a truck playing Christmas songs from cassette tape over a PA speaker... but I don't have a working PA or even a working radio or cassette player in any vehicle either.

    Ko. Hmmmm.

    Got it!

Go and pickup up some friends who, have been drinking heavily, throw them in the back of a pickup and drive them around while they sing carols?

I opted for option #1. And found some interesting bearings that I spun in September.

    What I'm doing...

I'm not sure what you should do Alan..but I know where I'm going shortly..since all my family members had "Christmas" at my neices house this afternoon already, and I ate supper,my sister is already asleep behind me in the computer room, and there's nothing to do once I sign off,(except watch "Its a Wonderful Life" foe the 1000th time:surepal: --or the "Christmas Story":screwy: )---..I'm headed out to the garage--gonna light the wood stove, listen to some of my favorite artists sing Christmas songs, and ......see if an old Southern friend, and his companion Mr.Miller, can "comfort" me in my boredom and solitude..:wink1: ...

I might have a headache tommorrow..but a good time tonight...;) But I'll be up by 2pm,so I can watch Rhonda Vincent and her band play on a NBC special on figure skating. .along with all the other stuff Christmas brings..

So I might not be on much longer tonight..Merry Christmas to All !!!...Bob

Right now; I'm filling the stockings, playing with new software. Wife is brewing a brine solution to marinate the turkey in overnight. Daughter is making Gingerbread men and stars and dog-bone shapes. And the son is snoring away in his bedroom!!!

Go north, leave now, while everyone else is asleep. Get as far away from the family as you can...

Oh man! It's Christmas and with people here and stuff, I totally forgot to go to my friend's wedding at 8pm tonight. Some friend I am. He's the same friend who's Toyota is here at my house... I had thought earlier, load the Toyota up and drop it off before his wedding on my way there. I don't know where that thought went to, but I totally spaced it.

Not that Christmas day is an ideal day to get married.
