It\'s getting hot under the hood!!!!

Alright, I have an '84 which came stock with a 6, it now has a 400 ci grafted from a camero. The thing is, is the previous owner didn't replace the stock single core radiator. I have a 4 core on it's way cause I don' t want any trouble with the drive to Nebraska from Oregon pulling a U-haul. It doesn't have a shroud, and the clutch fan is about 6" away from the radiator. I have been told that the same bracket on the single core will work for the 4 core. Will they? Also should I get rid of the clutch fan and go to a stiff 10,000 rpm flex fan? I'm going to try to find a shoud for a reasonable price but that is hard around these parts. Only 1(RIP OFF) scrap yard around.

    Thanks,
    Greg Gayman

I'm willing to bet that the new 4 core coupled with a shroud will eliminate your heat problems. Make sure to flush your cooling system when you put the new rad in........
